Hi, my name is Majeline and since this is my private little blog I think it is polite of me to give you all a little background knowledge about yours truly.
First and foremost, I am the proud mother of Abby Rose & Billie Maja and the happy – sometimes emotional and hysterical – girlfriend of Joshua.
I love skiing, snowboarding, skating, running, swimming, yoga, climbing, exploring and coffee and beer. I also like to read and write.
Here is my life story cut down to some 20 sentences:
I was born in Denmark in 1982 as the youngest out of four siblings. I grew up in a small town where everybody knew everybody. I played sports and my dad owned a chocolate factory. True story.
I grew up, went to high school and I spent more time partying than doing my homework. My advice: do your homework, kids! But don’t forget to have fun.
After some years of working in daycares I started studying Information Management at Copenhagen Business School. That went pretty well. I liked studying and I was actually quite good at it. Then I went on exchange to Vancouver. Vancouver is close to Whistler and in Whistler they have mountains and snow. I spent more time skiing and snowboarding than on uni. Lets just keep it at that.
Afterwards, I never really got back into the studies. I got some good and fun jobs instead, learned a lot, and made friends for life. I don’t regret it too much.
Then, in 2012 I went to Fiji with my family. There I met Joshua, we fell in love, made a baby, and moved to Australia together. And the rest is history in the making.
This blog is dedicated to give my dear readers – that’s you, you lovely soul – a ride along on this journey of ours, called life. Sometimes with tiny sidetracks about stuff taking up space inside my brain.
Thank you so much for popping by and don’t be a stranger.
